What are the main features of the oil? Special oil business for you to explain!
There are many metal surfaces in the engine that move in friction with each other. These parts move fast, the environment is poor, and the working temperature can reach 400°C to 600°C. New information technology companies can make natural gas into crystal pure fully synthetic base oil, and add power clean production technology on this basis, so as to create a lubricating oil with clean environmental protection performance.
Special oil merchants tell you that under such a harsh working condition, only qualified lubricants can reduce the wear of automobile engine parts and extend the service life of the company. Due to the different base oils, the oils on the market can be divided into mineral oils and synthetic oils (vegetable oils are not included due to their low output). Synthetic oil is divided into: fully synthetic and semi synthetic. Lubricants as base oils are mainly divided into two categories: mineral base oils and synthetic base oils. Mineral base oils are widely used and used in large amounts (about 95% or more), but in some applications, products formulated with synthetic base oils are required.
Special oil merchants tell you that the engine as a kind of machinery, the requirements for lubricating oil have something in common with general machinery, such as the need for appropriate viscosity, certain anti-oxidation, anti-wear, anti-corrosion and viscosity-temperature performance requirements. But the engine is a special kind of machinery, it has its special requirements for lubricating oil, its particularity mainly includes:
1. The general requirements for the engine are small size, light weight, compact mechanism, and large output power, so the load on the unit friction surface is large.
In addition to friction heat, it is also affected by combustion heat, so the temperature of the friction surface is very high, which reduces the viscosity of the lubricating oil and makes it difficult to form an oil film.
3. The high-temperature and high-pressure combustion gas in the combustion chamber will leak into the crankcase through the gap between the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner. These combustion gases are the gas produced by the complete combustion and incomplete combustion of fuel and a small amount of lubricating oil. Certain particulate matter (soot) usually becomes the main component of crankcase blow-by, which will pollute the lubricating oil and promote its oxidation under certain conditions.
4. The lubricating oil needed around the combustion chamber enters through the gap between the piston and the cylinder liner, and the gap between the valve stem and the valve guide, and the oil supply is difficult.
5. Special oil merchants tell you that parts such as pistons and valves reciprocate during work, so the relative development speed at the top and bottom dead centers is zero, making it difficult to form the oil film quality. The piston pin and bushing are in a swinging motion state, and the oil film is difficult to form.
6. Special oil merchants tell you that when the engine is stopped for a long time, the temperature difference is very large. Due to the thermal expansion and thermal deformation of the parts, it is difficult to control the constant gap of some friction pairs. This may be caused by the gap being too small and the bonding sintering. It may also be caused by the shock and vibration caused by the excessive gap and damage. In these cases, the oil film is difficult to adhere.
7. Special oil merchants tell you that there are many friction pairs in the engine, such as pistons and cylinder liners, crankshaft journals and bearings, cams and followers, gears, etc. Although they have different requirements for the lubrication performance of lubricating oil, only one type of lubricating oil can be used in an engine (except for large marine diesel engines), so a variety of lubrication conditions should be taken into account when choosing lubricating oil.
8. The use environment of vehicle engines is complex, such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, dust, etc.
