Tips for selecting lubricating grease for bearings

Never mix incompatible oils and fats. If two incompatible oils and fats are mixed, the consistency will usually become soft, and it may be damaged due to the easy loss of oils. If you don't know what kind of grease the bearing originally used, you must first remove the old grease inside and outside the bearing before refilling the grease.

Choose the right viscosity for high-speed grease

When the speed coefficient is close to 600,000, a base oil viscosity of less than 70 centigrade base (40 degrees Celsius) is ideal. Since high-speed applications tend to have higher temperatures and therefore shorter grease life, the overall grease characteristics should be designed to withstand these conditions.
